Overview:
The
XdW is more than a subwoofer…. And less at the same time.
Seemingly less because it is almost devoid of controls. Just a power
switch and a volume knob labelled more, less and just right. Seemingly
missing are phase controls, filter knobs, spikes, wrenches, microphones
and the gall of manufactures to believe that anyone short or their
engineering staff actually undertsnads the complex relationships
to properly integrate a subwoofer with your precious mini-monitors.
More than a subwoofer because the XdW is always and necessarily
controlled by the XdA which can make it go deep, or loud or the
exact combination of both. The XdA and our engineers handle all
the details about phase, crossover points, slopes, and group delay
so you don’t have to.
